Registration for the 27th edition of the Hoogeveen Chess Tournament is now open. This year, the tournament will be held from Saturday 26 October to 2 November. The format is the same as last year. However, there will be matches again in October. The organisation is currently working on securing nice players for this.
The Hoogeveen Chess Tournament is suitable for almost every chess player. From advanced home chess players and beginning club players to the stronger amateur. You can register for three tournaments. Amateur tournaments in the morning and afternoon and the Hoogeveen Open with international participants.
The amateur tournaments have a maximum Fide rating of 2100. The Open tournament has a minimum rating of 2000.
